Welcome to Home Matters Link Party #168! Have you been enjoying the new format? I’m having so much fun finding great posts for each week’s theme. This week our theme is Super Bowl Party Ideas. Now, I have to admit, I’m one that really only watches the commercials. But, I’m always up for a good party and enjoy hanging out with friends. I live in Eagles territory, so the excitement is high around here. Who’s ready to party? Let’s get started! #SuperBowlPartyIdeas #HomeMattersParty
Super Bowl Party Ideas
I grew up a Buckeye, so my football game experience was college ball. I’m still an OSU fan even in Jersey and I’ve found there are actually quite a few of us. IronFish is a Colts fan, having grown up in Indiana. For the sake of my marriage, that’s the pro team I’ll always root for, lol! But, to me, the Super Bowl is a fun reason to have a mid-winter party. It’s been really cold around here so I’m happy to have a reason to get together with friends.
And really, I’m all about the food! So, my selections today are all things I’m considering taking with me to my neighbor’s Super Bowl Party.
Cream Cheese Stuffed Sweet Peppers from Domestically Creative
Roast Beef Sandwich Sliders from Kit @The Kittchen
Fried Mac and Cheese from Jen @Cincy Shopper
And, if you’re one that would rather be playing a game than watching a game… There’s always Crappy Hand, the card game my sisters and I created.
Crappy Hand and other Party Games from Emily @ Domestic Deadline
